Vanguard newspaper dissociates itself from Editorial board chairman who described Yoruba's as sophisticated morons on Facebook.




















Vanguard newspapers has released a statement dissociating itself from comments made by the Chairman of its Editorial Board,Ochereome Nnanna who indirectly referred to the Yorubas as "Sophisticated Morons" onFacebook. 

Nnanna made the comment while responding to a post made about the award of a posthumous award and declaration of June 12th as democracy day as a mark of honor to late MKO Abiola. Nnanna mocked the Yorubas for celebrating this gesture by PresidentBuhari. See the Facebook post, his comment and the statement from Vanguard below

The notorious AJ team otherwise known as Omo Aiye met their Waterloo yesterday. The Aiyeteam members are noted for terrorising people on social media .Their leader Abike usually bully innocent people and crop their pictures .This her attitude has broken so many homes in United Kingdom and Nigeria Their Yeyelua ( that is the chieftaincy title giving to her ),Helen Gbemi Ogundimu ,a woman in her 50 was beaten and stripped naked at Stratford London yesterday.As usual they went to harass the Ewe team where they were having picnic with their leader.She was thoroughly beaten ,her other members were just looking nobody made any attempt to help her.See video below. Police arrest notorious gunrunner who supply arms to cattle wrestlers, kidnappers and armed ribbers in Katsina.

The Katsina State Police Command has arrested a notorious gunrunner, who supply arms and ammunition to cattle rustlers, kidnappers and armed robbers hiding at Rugu forest, Safana Local Government Area of the state. The suspect Safiyanu Amadu, 50, of Barbelu village, Bakori LGA, was nabbed on July 9,  following a tip off. Amadu was chased and arrested deep inside Rugu forest and two locally made revolver pistols and one 62mm life ammunition of Ak.47 rifle were recovered from his possession. The suspect has confessed to have intends selling same to cattle rustlers inside the forest. He is currently assisting the police in their investigation.
